Clinical Trials Information

  • AIDSinfo A Service of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. Offering the latest federally approved information on research, clinical trials, and treatment for patients and health care providers.
  • AIDS Education Global Information System (AEGIS) - A nonprofit organization that was established in response to the growing HIV/AIDS pandemic. Its mission is twofold: facilitate access to current patient/clinician information, specific to HIV/AIDS via state-of-the-art technology; and preserve for future generations a global history of the pandemic with our historical news and treatment database.
  • ClinicalTrials.gov The U.S. National Institutes of Health, through its National Library of Medicine, has developed ClinicalTrials.gov to provide patients, family members and members of the public current information about clinical research studies.
  • HIV InSite A comprehensive HIV/AIDS information site maintained by the faculty at the University of California San Francisco. It includes a national clinical trials database, the online AIDS Knowledgebase, a textbook on AIDS and much more.
  • Medscape (One time registration required) Part of WebMD Health Professional Network that includes theHeart.org and eMedicine.com whose mission is to provide clinicians and other healthcare professionals with the most timely comprehensive and relevant clinical information to improve patient care; to make the clinician's task of information gathering simpler, more fruitful, and less time-consuming; and to provide physicians with the educational tools needed to stay current in their practice.
